Abstract
A novel interrogation system able to create real time, high resolution radar images for personnel security screening is presented. The system is based on combining multiple mm-wave transmitters and receivers. The images are created as the person being screening continuously moves between two parallel walls containing the transmitters and receivers working in a fully-coherent architecture. To image the entire body surface, for every transmitter, receivers on both walls receive the scattered waves. Representative simulation results showing the feasibility of the system are presented.
