Abstract :
The development of an experimental procedure to examine the relationship between vibration exposure and vascular permeability in rats is described. Evans blue dye is used as the permeability marker. The effects of vibration at 125 Hz, 5 g (50 m/s2)·rms are studied in the gastrocnemius muscle and the liver in order to examine the response of the tissue close to the vibration source and to examine a systemic response, respectively
