Abstract
The aim of this paper is to introduce a DC-DC power converter that can be used in an online uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The proposed converter provides uninterrupted, reliable power and voltage regulation for critical loads, as well as power factor correction in the supply system. The operating principle, theoretical analysis and control strategy are described. Digital simulation and experimental results are included, supporting the validity of the concept.
