Abstract :
The actuality and trend of the wind powers application in China was introduced, and the opinion of constructing offshore wind farms in Bohai Sea is proposed. It analyses the wind energy value and seabed geological conditions of Bohai Sea, on this basis, suitable base forms are proposed, and then, the economics of wind power development and the impact on the environment is studied. The results show that not only the wind resources are rich but also the suitable base forms are various in Bohai Sea. It demonstrates that constructing offshore wind farms actively in Bohai Sea is very necessary and of great significance.
