Abstract :
In this study we selected humidity index, days of sand wind in winter and spring, the texture of soil and the vegetation coverage as four indicators, to analysis and evaluation the desertification sensitivity of ChengDe regions by using the database of GIS technique evaluation factor. Results indicates that the desertification sensitivity of Chengde regions level is divided into three levels, namely Non-sensitive region, Light sensitive region, Moderate sensitive region. Non-sensitive areas are mainly distributed in the southern region of ChengDe. Light sensitive areas are common in Chengde regions. Moderate sensitive areas are distributed in Weichang and the northern and southern of Fengning.
