Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe: results of research done by Clemson University for the Construction Industry Institute (CII) through the Zero Injury Task Force; successful implementation of Zero Injury Safety Program in the Tennessee Valley Authority Division of Transmission Construction where a Zero Injury Goal (Zero Lost Workday Case Incident Rate) was achieved and sustained for 2 1/2 years; and the latest in financial and construction risk management in the construction industry and applied to electric utility transmission construction, operation, and maintenance using inhouse and contract forces.
