Abstract :
The results of the investigation of EHD-flow structure in the inter-electrode gap of EHD-pump of "blade-blade with insulation coating" by shadow method with the simultaneous measurement of the throughput rate are presented. The influence of the canal width, coaxiality and distance between the electrodes on EHD-flow structure and throughput intensity was studied. It is shown, that the narrowing of the canal and the insulation coating of one of the electrodes increase the EHD-pump efficiency.
