  • Abstract
    A modified algorithm of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is presented based on the Centre PSO, in which the tournament selection operator is introduced to select the evolved particles. Tests in three benchmark functions show the algorithm is more steady and rapid than Centre PSO.
