Abstract :
This paper presents a full-wave analysis of a nonradiative dielectric waveguide with a dielectric pseudochiral slab-the Ω-NRD waveguide. The modal equation for the Longitudinal Section Magnetic (LSM) modes is derived and the effect of the pseudochiral Ω-medium is discussed. The dispersion curves for the first hybrid modes are presented, showing that the propagation characteristics may considerably differ from the isotropic case
