Abstract :
The work presents a broadband millimeter wave receiver. It proposes a new direct down conversion technique and the advantages of using a five-port system. A brief study of five-port systems is first presented. Then, the functionality of this direct down conversion receiver concept is validated with a transmission system. This new technique is suitable for a wireless local loop at 26 GHz.
