Abstract :
Image denoising algorithms are proposed assuming specific kind of noise in various applications. No present algorithms includes noise prediction. Prediction of noise create an ease to apply the specific denoising algorithms to produce required result. In this paper, we propose a method to predict the noise present in image using rough set theory. We are predicting whether noise is Gaussian, Salt and Pepper and Speckle from noisy image on the basis of noise distribution. We have used standard MATLAB images as a noisy input and ROSE software for rough set table creation.
