Abstract :
In this paper, a 60 GHz controllable gain horn antenna, implemented in a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) structure, was designed. The proposed antenna uses NIP diodes (MA4FCP305) mounted within a SIW antenna to allow gain control. The reflection coefficient and antenna gain were designed using Ansoft HFSS. The simulated results showed that the proposed antenna exhibits good performances especially in terms of gain tuning.
