Abstract :
We present a theoretical and experimental characterization of the amplitude and delay response of these gratings, which has great importance in applications such as multichannel delay lines and WDM systems because of the additional dispersion effects. The fact that systems do not always include phase measurement setup makes it desirable to get a complete device characterisation from the measured reflectivity, as shown by means of the Hilbert transform
