Abstract :
We report single- and multi-element fibre grating coupled diode laser transmitter modules that emit at ITU-designated wavelengths. In addition, we demonstrate that they can attain a direct modulation bandwidth that is as high as 4.62 GHz. Previously, the highest speed reported for these devices was 3.5 GHz
