Abstract :
In this paper, the wireless sensor network (WSN) technology is applied into shear location in the tunnel. Shearer location is vital for automatically mining coal equipment controlling. Node deployment analysis and modeling of RSSI with distance helps to obtain shearer walking distance. Simulated experiment is carried out; and results are as expected. Location accuracy and power detection are also considered for this special scene.
