Abstract :
In this paper, the natural echinocystic was modified using succinic anhydride acid. The optimum conditions for modification are following: reaction solvent is pyridine, reaction temperature is 95°C, reaction time is 8 hours. The polarity of the product was measured by High Performance Liquid Chromatography, and the structure was confirmed by IR and MS. The results show that the polarity of product declines and echinocystic has been successfully modified.
