Abstract :
This study introduces a H2 guaranteed cost control method for the discrete time fuzzy systems with norm-bounded uncertainties based on the piecewise Lyapunov functions. Sufficient conditions for the H2 guaranteed cost controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Further more, a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to design the optimal H2 guaranteed cost controller, which minimizes the guaranteed cost of the closed-loop uncertain system. Numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
