Abstract
This paper describes an efficient approach for time domain sensitivity analysis of lossy transmission lines in the presence of nonlinear termination. Sensitivity information is derived using the recently developed passive method of characteristics (PMoC) macromodel. An important feature of the proposed method is that the derivatives of the sensitivity network are obtained analytically from the PMoC macromodel, leading to significant computational advantages.
