Abstract :
This paper discusses a circuit topology which ameliorates insertion loss and large signal capture effects in tunable SAW filters. The topology is developed as an extension of recent work on fully-programmable SAW transversal filters and centers upon the use of the SAW filter as a tunable impedance element in a flexible frequency selective amplifier module.
