Abstract
The torque ripple caused by stator magnetic field jump of brushless DC motors was analysed theoretically and numerically, the research results show that the torque ripple caused by stator magnetic field jump is another important reason of torque ripple for brushless DC motors. A new PWM control algorithm is given to eliminate this kind torque ripple.
