Abstract :
A new method for purification of wheat esterase was build which include four steps. The wheat esterase was purified to electrophoretically pure through ammonium sulfate saturation, ultrafiltration, Sephadex G150 and Procainamide affinity chromatography. The wheat esterase was puried 127 fold with specific activity 1264 U/mg after the four steps. The molecular weight of the wheat esterase estimated was 45kDa by SDS-PAGE.
