Abstract :
This paper is study on the adsorption performance of chitosan for copper ions in conditions of different amounts of chitosan , different times, different temperatures and different pH. The results show that the best adsorption conditions is chitosan concentration of 6.4 ~8.0g/L ; adsorption time of 10min ; adsorption temperature of 38 °C ;pH=6. The kinetic equation of chitosan adsorption for copper ion is y = 0.2048xLn (x-0.495) + 99.495. The largest adsorption percentage of Cu (II) by chitosan is 99. 7% for 100mg/L Cu (II) aqueous solution.
