Abstract
Enhanced data rate requires the management of the voltage and timing margins in eye diagrams. This lays a great emphasis on controlling SSN in the power supply network. Thus, the ability of the power delivery network to convey clean power has become more important. In this paper, a practical scheme using power transmission lines is presented. Several accompanying issues are addressed to enable this novel approach for managing noise in the power delivery network. The simulation results demonstrate that with the proposed CC-PTL scheme, SSN-free eye opening can be achieved.
