  • Abstract
    Hemiberlesia pitysophila Takagi is a fatalnes plant diseases and insect pest of quarantined by the People´s Republic of China. For probe into the effect of prevention and cure by biocontrol fungus on the insect pest of Hemiberlesia pitysophila Takagi, the prevention and cure tests in different season were done at Guangxi Bobai forestry farm and Cenxi, by the test design of random sections and complete random. The results showed that well effect of prevention and cure in woodland was gained by the biocontrol fungus on Hemiberlesia pitysophila Takagi. The test death rate reached 80% upwards. Enemdation rate reached 40% upwards. Controllable period of time in the forest area of badly harm by Hemiberlesia pitysophila Takagi is 160d at least. There was difference of effect of prevention and cure in different season. The effect of prevention and cure in winter and in spring is better than that of in summer. In despite of drought in winter and high temperature in summer, the pest population density of Hemiberlesia pitysophila Takagi was controlled effectively however.
