Abstract
Web reasoning is an important engineering subject. A new Web reasoning approach combined with graphical symbols reasoning and conventional logical reasoning is proposed in this paper; further, the software of Web reasoning and simulation based on interval-valued is constructed. The main advantages of this approach are: in web simulation database, the minimal cardinality and maximal cardinality of a concept are regarded as an interval-valued, viz., [MinimalCardinality, MaximalCardinality]; in addition, the related practical values are specified or adjusted by users or the simulation system online, dynamically. We have investigated and implemented the Ontology-based database management system and related reasoning mechanisms. Experimental results with the real life datasets show that our system could dynamically discover, store, and simulate knowledge with semantic information.
