Abstract :
In this paper, an experimental method of chemical flocculation was proposed for the problems of waste flush fluid in Guangxi Pingguo Aluminum Company. The Effect of the value of pH, the type of flocculants, the proper amount of flocculants, the adding sequencing, and stirring speed on the sedimentation properties of the mud was investigated, individually. The results indicate that the optimum sedimentation conditions of the mud were obtained as follows: the pH is 7.0, the flocculant is inorganic PPAC mixed with organic polymer PAM, the dosage is 20g/t, the adding sequencing is first PAM and then PPAC, the stirring speed is 90r/min.
