Abstract :
A simple circuit model based on a transmission line (T.L.) model for a dual mode SIW hybrid coupler is presented to calculate the coupler S-parameters. It is simple compared to full-wave solvers, which are time and memory consuming due to huge generated mesh. A case study is presented to validate the proposed model and the simulated results are compared to the full-wave solver results. A very good agreement is observed.
