Abstract :
Dibutyl phthalate is one of major plasticizer, which has detrimental effects on human health. Extraction is an important method to treat high concentration dibutyl phthalate. In order to optimize the extraction condition of treatment high concentration dibutyl phthalate, this article firstly compared the efficiency of five different extraction agents including carbon tetrachloride, benzene, isooctanol, n-caprylic alcohol and cyclohexane. The result showed that the best extraction agent is carbon tetrachloride among of all the five different extraction agents. For further to enhance extraction efficiency, temperature, reaction ratio of extractant and wastewater, pH value, dilution rate of original waste water and reaction time were determined. The results according orthogonal design indicated that the optimum extraction conditions were as follows: temperature is 35°C, the ratio between extractant and wastewater is 0.6, pH value is 3, dilution rate of original waste water is 0, and extraction time is 3min. Under the optimization condition, the dibutyl phthalate extraction rate is 99.96%.
