Abstract :
It is known, that a slot antenna, placed immediately on the ground surface, provides low radiation into the air and low coupling between transmitting and receiving antennas. A "front to back ratio" is much greater then that for an electric dipole. This work is devoted to the investigation of a slot antenna (Fig. 1), placed at a small height h<0.02-0.05 λ above the ground surface.
