Electromagnetic calculation and energy considerations in the human head for mobile communications conditions

The estimation of the field and power dissipation inside the human head for mobile communication conditions, has recently received much attention. The accurate calculation of the above quantities is of extreme importance, for the safe operation of hand-held transceivers. A method based on the numerical method of moments is presented, for the determination of the electric field and the eddy current density induced by a non uniform electromagnetic field, as well as the power dissipation and thu SAR inside the head.
