Abstract
A dual-mode 8-mm radiometer is described as intendent for the medical diagnosis purposis. The radiometer is capable of simultaneous remote measurements of the temperature and reflection coefficient distributions of a human body part in questions at two orthoghonal polarization. The installation included two-dimentional scanner, bifocal receiving-emitting antenna and the data collection and processing computerized system. The latter allows to synthesize the radio images of a human body both in terms of its temperature and reflection coefficient. Such technoloy we have used to see objects like guns, knives, plastic explosives and other contraband hidden under cloching.
