  • Abstract
The adsorption kinetics of the surfactant dodecyl benzenesulphonic acid at a metal-oil interface has been studied by means of transient current measurements. It is shown that, in situations where the impurities can influence the adsorption kinetics of surfactant molecules, the extent of adsorption at the solid-liquid interface may not attain the state of equilibrium within a reasonable time period
