  • Abstract
    Based on researching into control technique of hematite flotation process, the mathematic model of control of flotation reagent quantum is introduced. This model uses image processing technique to extract texture characteristics of froth image before using the rough set and LVQ neural net technique to estimate the status of produce and adjust reagent quantum. Application of plant and emulate contrast shows the mathematical model can suffice for the requirement of flotation process control. The model establishes foundation of the realization of flotation automation.
