Abstract :
Triterpene acids (TA) from fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum were prepared by solvent extract method and its components were analyzed by TLC, UV, IR and HPLC. The effects of the extract on cell proliferation were investigated by MTT assay. In vitro experiments showed IC50 values of TA towards BEL 7402 at a low dose of 15.62μg·ml-1 inhibited BEL 7402 very significantly (p<;0.01). TA-3 isolated from TA at 31.25μg·ml-1 was found a similar effect (p<;0.05), very significant inhibitory effect(p<;0.01) when the concentration was 125μg·ml-1. TA´s HPLC fingerprintings showed that raw material, bulk drugs as well as injectable powder and liquid sample from triterpenoids of G lucidum had a good correlation coefficient by using HPLC method, The established FP-HPLC was specific, stable and repeatable, and might provide useful files for applying the approval of new drugs. All the results showed TA from G lucidum had strong bioactivities and the ability of inhibiting the hepatoma growth selectively.
