Abstract :
A novel technique to feed a microstrip patch antenna at terahertz (THz) frequency is discussed. To feed the Microstrip patch antenna, the waveguide impedance transformer has been used. The analysis shows that with the help of the waveguide transformer, the impedance of the antenna and the guide can be matched. This paves the way for realizing patch antenna at THz frequency using a practical excitation method.
