Abstract :
A new wideband microstrip antenna is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna has a compact size of 20×16 mm2 and an impedance bandwidth of 3.5 GHz to 18 GHz. The full 3D electromagnetic simulation software CST STUDIO SUITE was used to simulate and analyze the proposed antenna. The reflection coefficient, the radiation pattern, and the gain are used to demonstrate the performance of the proposed antenna. The proposed antenna is fabricated to verify the results.
