  • Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows.Summary form only given, as follows. A laser cooled atomic Cs fountain frequency standard is now in operation at LPTF. Actually, the measured frequency stability is /spl sim/2.10/sup -13//spl tau//sup -1/2/ limited by the frequency noise of the local oscillator. Measurements are currently limited at 2.10/sup -15/ given by the resolution of the H-maser. The preliminary accuracy, estimated at 3.10/sup -15/, is discussed. The advance of the 2D Raman velocity selection is given.
