Abstract :
Eutrophic source water in Meiliang Bay, Taihu Lake was treated by the combined ecological floating bed (CEFB) technology, and the results showed it was an effective method for improving water quality that the average removal of TN and TP was 52.7% and 54.5% respectively under the water exchange period of 7 days. According to the Logistic growth model equation, the growth parameter of Kongxincai and Asian calm was calculated: 25.07 kg/m2 and 4.32 kg/m2 for the carrying capacity, and 0.0364 d-1 and 0.0181 d-1 for maximum intrinsic growth. The dynamic process of degradation of TN and TP in water was simulated by One-dimensional Purification Ecological Floating Bed Model, and this model can be applied to determine the coverage area of the combination of ecological floating bed and initial density of aquatic animals and plants in order to satisfy the need of purifying water body.
