Because of the demand of the various situation of fire and related disaster development, there exists an universal phenomenon in Chinese firefighting troops that the new rescue activity of extinguish fire needs to pass across regions. For accurately gather and use an emergency rescue strength everywhere, it is necessary to work out the technique problem of sharing the directing information. In this paper, a space information model based on XML is designed, and by the key technique of metadata service, the obtaining parts of data, and XML converting technique and so on, the platform of WebGIS information sharing system is built up. The platform can visit the distribute GIS information database in each rescue unit of different place, also it can authorized customers by different levels. So that the emergency information of rescuing strength of different place can be well controlled, then the target of command information sharing is realized.
