Abstract :
A novel dual-polarized dielectric resonator antenna fed by bowtie-shaped slots is investigated, which exhibits high isolation of greater than about 40dB with a broad bandwidth of wider than 26%. Its measured maximum gain is 6.65dB with a gain variation of 1.25dB over the bandwidth. Its good polarization purity and broadside radiation patterns are also confirmed.
