Abstract
A new approach to camera calibration is proposed in this paper. If the camera observes a scene plane including more than one rectangle at the different unknown directions, all the five intrinsic parameters can be determined linearly by this proposed method. Experimental results from simulated data and real images show that the proposed method is accurate and robust. Because the constraint equations are derived from circular points and vanishing points, the intrinsic parameters and extrinsic parameters can be easily solved.
