  • Abstract
    What strategies can we use to integrate technology into course design and program assessment? This paper targets educators, training professionals, and communicators who are interested in integrating technology into course design and program assessment implementation. It introduces the topic by providing a background on strategies for using technology in teaching and learning, describing the role of problem-based learning in educational settings, and demonstrating a new, electronic relational system for keeping track of six types of components related to program assessment implementation: (a) an assessment plan, (b) assessment activities for administrative and program units, (c) course materials (goals, objectives, contribution of course to meeting program, professional, and departmental outcomes), and (d) rubrics (scoring instruments), (e) process charts, and (f) survey information.
