Abstract :
By adding zinc chloride to the surplus sludge and using the traditional method for making activated carbon, we prepared the activated carbon adsorption deodorant and studied the function, benefit and security properties of the adsorption deodorant. The results show that the deodorant under the activation temperature of 600°C has more mesopore, its iodine adsorption value is higher than 300mg/g.Wastewater plant odor components molecular is smaller than 2 nm, the pore structure of the activated carbon adsorption deodorant is suitable for removing these malodorous gases. But the productivity using sludge to prepare this adsorption deodorant is only about 1/16 and there is some problem about water pollution and gas pollution in the preparation process. Therefore, before using this new technology, we must considerate the economic condition, technical condition, the feasibility of controlling new pollution. By making the best of national environmental economic subsidies policies, engineering applied research can be carried out.
