Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel design of a dual-band high-gain resonant cavity antenna (RCA) with single polarization. For dual-band (frequency ratio: 1.92:1) operation with single polarization and directional patterns, two T-shape slots in non-radiating edges of the microstrip patch were introduced. A single layer capacitive frequency selective surface (FSS) was employed as superstrate to achieve higher gain in both bands.
