  • Abstract
    This paper describes a solid state step up/down transformer system which also provides AC output voltage regulation. It uses PWM AC power switching to achieve high efficiences and uses no large inductive components. Its performance has been verified by extensive computer simulation of the entire system and breadboard testing of several of the key circuits.
