Abstract :
The method of decomposition on eigenfunctions has been extensively applied to the wave propagation simulation in inhomogeneous coaxial cable. It provides a comparatively faster algorithm for simulation and visualization of electromagnetic processes occurring in long coaxial lines. The method is applied to the simulation of cables with a steel partition, as well as the junction domain of layered cables. This method is extended and applied for the investigation of cables with different heterogeneity, as well as for different cable junction area simulation.
