Abstract :
Summary form only given. Many markets for high-performance diode-pumped solid state lasers are currently limited by the high cost of the semiconductor diode pump arrays. On the other hand, cost reduction for these same devices requires a developed market. We will address this and other obstacles facing commercialization of diode-pumped solid-state lasers
