  • Abstract
The thermoelectric and galvanomagnetic properties were investigated in n-type Bi2Te3-xSex (0.12⩽x⩽0.36) solid solution in the temperature range 80-300 K. A correlation between figure of merit Z and parameters of the many-valley model is found with account of the anisotropy scattering approximation in Bi2Te3-xSex solid solution. It is shown that the decrease of anisotropy of the constant energy surface and anisotropy of the scattering process leads to increase of Z-value, especially in the low temperature range
