Abstract :
An optimization method based on the structured model is proposed to solve the feeding strategies problem of fed-batch in the complex fermentation process. Firstly the structured model improved to fit the fed-batch fermentation is proposed to describe the product yield phase. Then the optimization model is built to gain the most product efficiency. Finally the algorithm for solving is carried out by the way of discretization and SQP method. The simulation shows that the product of feeding strategy with optimization is higher than that without optimization.
