Abstract :
Application of thermoelectric materials in devices requires creation of commutational and antidiffusion coatings. Multilayer coatings on the surface of thermoelectric elements of Bi2(Te 1-xSex)3 and (Bi0.25Sb0.75)2(Te1-ySe y)3 were made by electron beam evaporation of Mo, Ni and Bi-Sn alloys in vacuum. Dependence of surface morphology upon surface of substance and summary thickness of coatings within the range of 0.5-10 μm was investigated. It was shown that solders with melting point up to 200°C based on Bi-Sn alloys can be applied for commutation of thermoelectric elements in devices. Influence of quality of coatings upon thermoelectric figure of merit of devices has been found
